About Us
Africa Forward Foundation aims to reinvent generosity through the visible participation of African businesses, gender-focused initiatives and a strong civil society.
Africa Forward Foundation is an investment catalyst. It encourages local companies to develop and/or formalize their corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs in order to invest in local, inclusive, community-driven solutions. It encourages donors and international institutions to invest in and collaborate with local civil society organizations led by youth and women.
It supports local organizations and provides a range of specialized services to the private sector, policy makers and their partners to achieve their international social and environmental objectives in favor of local communities in pursuit of their development goals.
Indeed, in a world where, despite development progress, inequalities are recomposing and persisting, there is an urgent need to go the extra mile. We believe that by investing in strong civil society organizations, led by local talent, youth and women, working in tandem with policy makers and their partners, we can achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
